Harold Bays, MD, FOMA, FTOS, FACC, FNLA, FASPC, has served as Principal Investigator for more than 700 clinical trials of metabolic therapeutic interventions and is one of the strongest scientific differentiators across the MBR network. He was Medical Director and President of the Louisville Metabolic and Atherosclerosis Research Center, Inc. (L-MARC), which was acquired by MBR in 2025. He is a nationally recognized investigator for obesity, endocrinology, lipid disorders, cardiometabolic disease, and MASH/MASLD research.
