Louisville, KY

Founded in 1986 as the Louisville Metabolic and Atherosclerosis Research Center (L-MARC), MBR’s Louisville site is one of the most prolific metabolic research facilities in the country.

Under the leadership of Harold Bays, MD, FOMA, FTOS, FACC, FNLA, FASPC, the site conducts Phase 1–4 clinical trials for obesity, diabetes, hypertriglyceridemia, MASH/MASLD, hypertension, heart disease, osteoporosis, gout, migraines, and other cardiometabolic conditions.

MBR’s Louisville site is backed by centralized contracting, startup, regulatory, and participant recruitment teams — a unified operations team that will bring continuity to every MBR site supporting your trial.
